A full design and refurbishment of offices for legal firm Clear Law located at Timber Wharf, Castlefield, Manchester.  Originally developed by Urban Splash, the offices were vacated in 2015 by the previous occupants and the new owners consulted with CHALKSPACE to develop a contemporary design aesthetic for the interior that would also incorporate their new brand identity.  The architectural shell is a construction of polished concrete and glass with an external terrace running the full length of the office premises situated beside the canal.

Clear Law’s desire from the outset was to create a high-functioning working environment with dynamic, interactive spaces designed to motivate employees to develop their professional roles and career aspirations. In addition to the new open plan desk areas it was requested that solutions were provided for both independent and team activities with private and flexible spaces designed to accommodate client meetings, training and review sessions as well as social events.

CHALKSPACE led a design concept developed through collaboration with team partners Ferrious, Field Design and Carolyn Willitts Studio, resulting in a new office scheme that exhibits high attention to detail and finish, colourful contemporary furnishings and fittings from world leaders in product design and unique, custom designed elements to enhance Clear Law’s branding.
