A commission instigated by architect Matt McNulty to create a bespoke kitchen wall finish and a 4 metre tall artwork for his clients.

Consultations began with the development of the designs and consideration given to the double-height space where the artwork was to be situated.  Due to the close proximity of the two bespoke elements a visual connection needed to be made between them; there was an opportunity here to explore the sense of scale and colour within the surface patterns.

For the glass splashback the decorative pattern was achieved by sandblasting the design to the face of the glass giving a subtle, permanent  effect.  A printed canvas was developed to soften the architectural void beyond the glass balustrade.
